Holidaymakers to Ibiza, Mallorca, and Menorca will face an increased Sustainable Tourism Tax, rising from €4 to €6 per person per night during high season starting March 7, 2025

Cruise ship passengers docking in the Balearics will pay €6 per night, triple the previous price of €2.

New fees for hire cars based on emissions and time spent on the islands may range from €30 to €80

The Balearic government announced  the tourism tax alongside restrictions on new tourist accommodations in residential areas and strict regulations for rental property listings
