The Malta Tourism Authority has welcomed new direct routes from Belfast International Airport to Malta, operated by Jet2 starting on March 28 and Ryanair from April 2, offering visitors the opportunity to fly to Malta with one weekly flight from Jet2 (Thursdays) and two weekly flights from Ryanair (Tuesdays and Saturdays)

Jet2 introduces its first-ever route to Malta from Belfast, while Ryanair adds to its existing direct routes from Dublin and Shannon Airports to Malta

According to Tolene van der Merwe, Director of the Malta Tourism Authority in London, the increased access with three weekly flights from Belfast International Airport provides more travellers from Belfast and rfegion with the chance to explore Malta’s historical sites, food, beaches, and water sports, offering great value particularly in off-peak months.
