Manchester Airport Terminal 2 Relocations will include a move by Gulf Air to Terminal 2 on 5 November 2025, followed by Norse Atlantic on 7 November, SAS on 11 November, and easyJet on 19 November.
New Terminal 2 features upgraded security screening, spacious departure areas, and expanded retail and dining options.
Centralising operations aims to shorten connection times and improve consistency, targeting Terminal 2 as the primary hub for all flights.
Manchester Airport handled 3.1m passengers in September 2025, indicating demand for further Terminal 3 revamps set for early 2026.
The moves form part of a £1.3bn transformation programme, with 11 airlines including Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa transferred.
Chris Woodroofe shared “If the next wave of airline relocations goes as smoothly as planned, Manchester could finally shed its reputation for chaos. The transfers are designed to streamline operations and improve the passenger experience.”
