
International buyers are arriving in Killarney for Meitheal 2025, Fáilte Ireland’s largest International Travel Trade Fair, set for 1st and 2nd April 2025 at The INEC and celebrating its 50th anniversary this year
The event will welcome over 200 international travel trade buyers from 17 different countries, creating extensive networking opportunities.
Meitheal has been running since 1975, serving as an essential platform for Irish tourism businesses to connect with top international buyers.
In conjunction with Tourism Ireland, Meitheal enables participants to showcase the best experiences Ireland has to offer.
The trade fair comes at a time CSO data shows a big decline in tourism, 25pc in January and 30pc in February, 43pc since pre-pandemic. Britain is down by 24.4pc since last year and 28pc since pre-pandemic. USA is down by 35pc since last year and 87.8pc since pre-pandemic, Germany by 18.7pc and France by 29.2pc. Germany regained its position as Ireland’s third largest inbound market form Spain, which overtook both France and Germany in January.
