Revenues at Hostelworld, chaired by ex-Ryanair and Failte Ireland Michael Cawley, increased by a third last year, reaching record highs.
The company reported revenues of €93.7m, up 32pc from the previous year, marking a historic high.
Net gross merchandise value also reached a record high at €619m, with net bookings and net bed nights showing significant increases year on year.
Despite a slight decrease in net average booking value, the company’s active social-media strategy helped reduce marketing costs as a percentage of net revenues.
