MSC are to appoint a third sales team member in Ireland to join Rebecca Kelly and Erica Oglesby.
Steve Williams of MSC said in a statement: following MSC’s most successful trading year ever in Ireland in 2017 and on the back of winning three prestigious awards at the annual ITAA awards for Best Mainstream Cruise Line, Best Trade Support Team & Best Account Manager (Rebecca Kelly), MSC have made the strategic decision to further expand the existing team of two (Rebecca Kelly National Account Manager & Erica Oglesby Regional Sales Manager) and hire a further full time Regional Sales Manager to continue their rapid growth and expansion in Ireland. As market leader in the Mediterranean, continued expansion in Dubai & the Middle East with two ships sailing the region for the forthcoming season & a rapidly expanding portfolio in the Caribbean MSC Cruises views the Irish market as instrumental to their long term growth strategy. Our commitment to the Irish market remains at the very top of the agenda for MSC Cruises, it is fitting in the year when we celebrate 10 years of operations in Ireland that we will be further growing our field sales team to a team of 3 to support our partners in Ireland which of course is complemented by a further team of two in the six counties. We have really enjoyed an incredible year in 2017 and want to build on this incredible success.
