Muireann Bagley from Balbriggan has made history as Ireland’s youngest qualified pilot, achieving this feat on her 17th birthday.
She began her aviation journey at a young age, influenced by her parents’ profession as pilots and a passion for flying sparked during her first flight at age 11.
Balancing her studies with flying lessons, Muireann is focused on completing theory exams and practical flight training, which includes navigation and decision-making processes.
Besides her immediate ambition of obtaining a private pilot’s license, Muireann is open to various paths in aviation, aspiring to further her qualifications for commercial piloting in the future.
