The Natural History Museum in Dublin to close for major refurbishment works starting in September and renovations to address accessibility issues

Extensive refurbishment is needed to protect and conserve the 168-year-old museum. In the meantime a new ‘Dead Zoo Lab’ to be opened at National Museum Ireland – Collins Barracks site during closure, to make the collection accessible in spring 2025.
