The facility welcomes its first arrival from Bengaluru. Multiple airlines launch services on the opening day. The new airport eases pressure on existing infrastructure. Operations begin smoothly on Christmas Day.
IndiGo Airlines operated the inaugural flight on Christmas day, 2025. Akasa Air joined with debut services. Air India Express also started routes immediately and Star Air has introduced connections from the site.
