
Air New Zealand is to launch a premium menu titled ‘A Taste of Aotearoa’ in October 2024 for Business Premier and premium economy long-haul flights, to showcase local New Zealand produce.
Menu highlights include crayfish bisque, rose veal with a vegetable salad, and peach and raspberry melba pudding, featuring local seafood like kahawai and tamure.
A selection of New Zealand wines will accompany the meals, featuring options from Hawke’s Bay and Nelson regions, including Craggy Range, Neudorf, and Aotea Seifried wines.
The menu reflects the Māori tradition of hospitality, manaakitanga, and offers special items for economy class, while Air New Zealand refreshes its catering and wine selection biannually and annually, respectively, to utilize seasonal ingredients.
