The spa at the Lodge at Ashford Castle has revealed that its new pool will not be ready for the start of the summer season. The pool was installed over the winter as part of a major refurbishment of the Éalú spa, for use of guests at Ashford Castle and the Lodge. The gym remains open.
The pool is pavilion style with a biophilic design, bringing the outside environment inside through floor-to-ceiling windows. The Lodge says that group and individual swimming classes and water aerobics classes will be introduced shortly. A 15m swimming pool, features a one lap swimming lane, children’s splash pool, jacuzzi essence infused steam room and a KLAFS sauna
The Lodge at Ashford Castle shared: Due to unforeseen essential maintenance works at Éalú which have taken longer than anticipated, our swimming pool, sauna and steam room will unfortunately be unavailable to guests until the end of June. Our gym and fitness suite will continue to operate as normal. Please rest assure that we are making every effort to reopen these facilities as soon as possible. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
