Ryanair is seeking a financial assistant for Michael O’Leary, a job described as a dogsbody role. The applicant must be qualified accountant with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Role requires strong commercial acumen. The tongue-in-cheek job description excludes Dublin GAA, Leinster Rugby, and Manchester United supporters with preference given to Munster Rugby and Manchester City fans.
Michael O’Leary shared “Like most City supporters, I don’t really know why I started supporting them. I was about six or seven in 1968 and I think, like a lot of kids, you support the team that is successful at the time so I supported them. They were a great team in the 1960s and 70s but, unlike most other supporters, I stuck with them for the next 30 years.”
