Elfly Group in Norway secures a grant of $8m from Enova SF for the production of a full-scale prototype of their , named Noemi (No-Emissions).
The Noemi seaplane will accommodate 9 to 13 people and will be powered by two electric motors with a combined output of up to 1MW (1,350 hp) and lithium batteries.
It will feature an unpressurized cabin, large windows, and a spacious access door, resembling the design of the Shorts Sealand aircraft.
