Online bank Revolut has introduced eSIM technology in Ireland, providing customers access to data plans in 100 countries without roaming charges.
Irish customers can digitally install the eSIM, allowing easy top-up in the Revolut app, and use it simultaneously with a physical SIM, ideal for frequent travelers to switch between networks seamlessly.
Ultra plan customers will enjoy exclusive access to 3GB of global data monthly, with an introductory offer of 100MB available to all Revolut customers in Ireland until 1 May 2024.
The eSIM enables customers to access the Revolut app without consuming their mobile data allowance, allowing them to top up on-the-go even if they run out of data, enhancing the convenience and cost-effectiveness of using mobile data while traveling internationally
