Iran’s civil aviation organisation has announced that operational restrictions on all flights have been lifted.

Flights, including those from Tehran’s Mehrabad and Imam Khomeini international airports, will return to normal operations from 23:00 local time.

All flights from Iran’s airports were cancelled from 9 p.m. on Sunday until 6 a.m. local time (0230 GMT) on Monday. Most international airlines avoided Iranian airspace during the period, an exception being FlyDubai.

The announcement was made by Iran’s state media, citing a spokesperson from the Civil Aviation Organisation.The cancellations were due to operational restrictions, although no further details were provided. This cancellation affected all airports across Iran
