
Operations resumed yesterday at Valencia airport after flooding caused cancellations and diversions on Tuesday evening during Storm Dana.
Airport operator AENA, posted on X on Wednesday morning that there had been a total of 30 flights diverted and 49 cancelled.
Access to the airport proved difficult throughout the day with many roads blocked. Pictures were shared on social media of passengers walking long distances to the airport.
FR8109 Cork to Valencia and FR8110 Valencia to Cork operated as normal on Wednesday evening.
