Passengers with a layover in Singapore can enjoy free bike hire from Changi Airport.
The bikes can be used for two hours to explore nearby attractions like the Jurassic Mile and East Coast beaches.
Passengers must have a layover of at least 5.5 hours but less than 24 hours and complete immigration procedures if necessary.
Changi Airport Connector is a 3.5km path that connects to Singapore’s park connector network, offering routes to places like Bedok Jetty and East Coast Lagoon Hawker Centre.
Four different routes, lasting from two to six hours, are provided, and visitors can pay to extend the bike hire for more exploration.
The bike return point at the airport includes pay-per-use shower facilities and an outdoor café and bar.
To avail the service, advance booking is required on the Changi app or at changi.me/free-bicycle. Bike hire takes place at the GoCycling rental facility near Terminal 2.
