Paul McGinley & Chris Hollins host tv golf series in advance of Ireland’s British Open

The new series of Golf’s Greatest Holes, titled “The Open Special,” has premiered on Sky Sports on January 28, 2025, showcasing the 18 challenging holes of the Dunluce Links at Royal Portrush ahead of the 153rd Open Championship this summer.

Co-hosted by Paul McGinley and Chris Hollins, the series will feature notable personalities like Darren Clarke and James Nesbitt as they navigate the iconic course while highlighting local attractions such as the Giant’s Causeway and Titanic Belfast.

The series will be broadcast in several countries, including the United States on NBC, starting in March, as part of Tourism Ireland’s efforts to leverage the tourism potential linked to The Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
