Pegasus Airlines has placed a firm order for 100 Boeing B737-10 aircraft, with an additional option for another 100, marking a shift towards a dual-manufacturer fleet strategy that will commence in the late 2020s.

The first delivery of the B737-10s is expected in 2028, signaling the airline’s return to operating a large Boeing fleet after previously focusing on Airbus models.

Currently, Pegasus operates a mix of aircraft including nine B737-800s along with A320 family aircraft, and while it initially aimed for an all-Airbus fleet, demand growth post-pandemic has led to extensions of B737-800 leases.

The airline has also secured a sustainability-linked financing deal for three A321-200NX aircraft and is actively working to finance nine A321neo jets, reflecting its commitment to sustainable practices in line with its newly released aviation guidelines.
