
Post-tax profits at inbound tour operator Paddywagon surged to €402,513 for the year ending October 2023 from a turnover of €7m, more than doubling profit from €161,848 in 2022, and bringing accumulated profits to €2.3m.
The company expanded its cash reserves from €1.87m to €2.23m and invested €1.5m in its fleet, enhancing its book value of vehicles to €5.29m.
Paddywagon also operates a B&B; tourist offices, hostels a a private transportation service and a pub in Dingle.
Employment levels remained constant at 58 employees, while director compensation significantly increased, reflecting growth and investments made during a post-pandemic recovery period.
Paddywagon was founded by Roscrea born Cathal O’Connell in 1998.
