Public consultation for a new shuttle bus service called the Burren and Cliffs Explorer is set to take place on April 7 and 8 in Miltown Malbay and Kilfenora.

The pilot shuttle service will operate from May 1 to August 31, linking key locations in North and West Clare, including Doolin, Lahinch, and Liscannor.

Clare County Council and the National Parks and Wildlife Service aim to improve transportation to tourist attractions like the Cliffs of Moher and Burren National Park.

Public input is encouraged to ensure the shuttle service meets the needs of both residents and visitors, promoting sustainable tourism and economic benefits for local communities.

Feedback received so far has been positive, with expectations that the shuttle will improve local connectivity and encourage tourists to explore the area without relying on cars.
