Meath County Council is inviting the public to a Public Information Event for the Drogheda-Navan Boyne Greenway Project, happening on January 11 from 2pm to 8pm at the Conyngham Arms Hotel, Slane; public consultation is open until January 29th.

The Boyne Greenway will be a 26.5km pedestrian and cycle route connecting Oldbridge Estate with Andy Brennan Park in Navan, facilitating access to Brú na Bóinne and other Boyne Valley attractions.

Meath County Council and Atkins Réalis Ireland are developing the Greenway, and have separated the Boyne Navigation Restoration Scheme to be considered independently.
