Qantas to exclude JetStar passengers from lounge access from 1 Julypolaris

Qantas will tighten lounge access rules from 1 July 2026 so that most passengers flying international routes with its leisure subsidiary Jetstar lose entry to Qantas lounges even if they hold Gold or Platinum frequent flyer status.

Only Platinum One members will remain exempt while complimentary lounge passes will no longer be shareable except for companions on the same flight. The changes apply to international flights but domestic Jetstar lounge access remains unaffected and the airline cites customer feedback as the reason for making lounges more exclusive.
