Qatar Airways and Aer Lingus are to extend their codeshare partnership to cover Aer Lingus trans Atlantic routes.
The agreement allows Qatar Airways to place its code on Aer Lingus flights, connecting through Dublin, London, and Manchester to destinations like Aberdeen, Belfast, Cork, and Glasgow.
This partnership strengthens Qatar Airways’ ties with International Airlines Group (IAG), covering all IAG carriers, including British Airways, Iberia, and Vueling.
Qatar Airways passengers gain access to Aer Lingus’ network, while Aer Lingus customers can connect to Qatar’s global routes via Doha’s Hamad International Airport.
Aer Lingus operates over 100 routes, including 19 transatlantic routes in 2025, and is committed to net zero emissions by 2050.
Thierry Antinori shared: “Our new codeshare partnership with Aer Lingus demonstrates Qatar Airways’ commitment to its customers, who will benefit from a wider choice of global destinations.”
Reid Moody shared: “We’re pleased to launch our new codeshare partnership with Qatar Airways, offering their customers a great choice of routes and destinations on Aer Lingus’ extensive network of flights.”
