Randles Hotel in Killarney has received approval from Kerry County Council to add 10 extra guest bedrooms by repurposing its leisure centre and plant room.
The hotel’s application, submitted in June, also included plans for a lift enclosure and modifications to the building’s south, east, and west elevations.
Kerry County Council granted permission with four conditions, including a financial contribution of €12,600.
The contribution will primarily fund the ‘Killarney Hub Levy’ and will also support roads, transport, and community amenities.
