Record January for visits to Spain from Ireland as figures rise 13.1pc

Ireland visits to Spain in January have taken up the growth which prevailed through 2024, and were up 10.3pc to 162,137, a record for the month. The Canaries was the main destination chosen.

Spain received 5.1m international tourists in January, 6.1pc more than in the same month of 2024.

England was the country of residence with the most tourists followed by Germany.
