Rendez Vous en France has opened with a welcome event at the Musee Aeroscopia in Toulouse.
Workshops commence today with a media tour for visiting journalists, followed by an evening event at the indoor market, Marche Victor Hugo.
The event has attracted 836 attendees including tour operators, international press, and influencers, and over 26,000 appointments scheduled.
Atout France will launch its €9m Explore France 2024 campaign at the fair in Toulouse.
The event kicks off what will be a significant year for French tourism, marked by events such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games, commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landing, and the reopening of Notre-Dame-de-Paris, among others.
At a briefing this morning, Caroline Leboucher, the General Director of Atout France, will emphasise the importance of this year for France in both the events sector and tourism, presenting a fantastic opportunity for all French territories.
