Operating profits for Tony Collins Travel Agency Ltd, which owns Topflight, surged 59pc to €1.84m, driven by a 42pc increase in revenues from €33.28m to €47.25m in the year ending October.

This growth marks a recovery, with revenues surpassing pre-COVID-19 levels of €45m in 2019 after plummeting to €950,484 in 2021 due to the pandemic.

Despite the increase in operating profits, pre-tax profits fell 7pc to €1.04m, primarily due to non-recurring costs including professional fees and goodwill impairment totaling €793,983.

The company, founded by Tony Collins and run by his sun Anthony, expanded its workforce from 85 to 100 employees, with total staff costs rising significantly, while cash reserves grew from €9.86m to €14.26m, reflecting a positive financial outlook.
