The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection appointed Ernesto Fara as president and chief executive officer on 17 November 2025.
Fara succeeded Jim Murren who continued as executive chairman. Fara joined the company in 2020 as chief financial officer and board member.
He oversaw development and financing of yachts Ilma and Luminara which launched in September 2024 and July 2025. Fara led guest experience, operations, finance, sales, marketing and technology as president from 2023.
