Royal Caribbean has appointed Diana Ross as the godmother of the Star of the Seas, which is their second Icon Class ship aimed to launch in August 2025.
The official naming ceremony will occur in the AquaTheater at the AquaDome, right from Port Canaveral, Florida.
Michael Bayley expressed excitement, stating that Diana Ross is the ideal godmother for the vessel, sharing her legacy of transcending generations through music.
As godmother, Ross will bless the ship and its future passengers during the ceremony, showcasing the maritime tradition.
