Belfast International – Malta, to commence April 2, was one of three new routes confirmed by Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary in Malta.
It will launch in competition with Jet2’s once-weekly Malta service to commence March 28 on a route vacated by easyJet, also new Ryanair routes to Norwich & Rome,
Traffic from Malta grows 22pc to 4.5m passengers this summer, with 67 route sand an extra based aircraft.
