Ryanair is seeking to overturn a court ruling that prevents it from suing the Italian competition authority, AGCM, in Ireland.
The case originated from a raid conducted by the AGCM on Ryanair’s Dublin headquarters in March.
A High Court judge previously dismissed Ryanair’s case in June, citing a lack of jurisdiction for Irish courts over the Italian authority.
The appeal is seeking to overturn this dismissal to allow Ryanair to pursue legal action against the AGCM, which it says is vexatious and unnecessary.
