Ryanair Engineering Training Academy welcomed its 1,000th trainee as part of its initiative to support the expanding fleet of 800 aircraft.
The academy provides four qualifications: Aircraft Mechanic, Licensed Mechanic (CAT A), B1 Licensed Engineer, and B2 Licensed Engineer.
Three training routes are offered: Trainee Mechanic Programme, Junior Aircraft Engineer Programme, and Engineering Apprenticeship.
Training is conducted at Prestwick and Stansted in collaboration with Ayrshire College and Skill Development Scotland, and at Dublin and Shannon in collaboration with SOLAS and TUD.
