Ryanair has releases details of its Shannon Expansion for summer 2026. New summer routes from Shannon include Rome, Warsaw, Poznań, and Madrid, starting March.

An investment of €368m supports fourth based aircraft and increased frequencies on Manchester, Alicante, Barcelona-Reus, Lanzarote, and Malta routes. Total summer offering reaches 30 routes with 1.4m seats, up 15pc from previous year.

Winter additions already announced feature Lapland, Madeira, Madrid, and boosted capacity on Alicante, Edinburgh, Kraków, Lanzarote, Manchester, and Wrocław.

Ryanair CCO Jason McGuinness shared “the additional routes are thanks to the hard work of the Shannon Airport Group.”

Interim CEO of The Shannon Airport Group Ray O’Driscoll shared “This expansion is a strong vote of confidence in Shannon’s growth trajectory. It reflects our ongoing investment in infrastructure and passenger experience, as well as our strong commitment to working with airline partners to expand our route network and deliver greater choice for customers across the country.”
