Ryanair’s October 2025 OTA survey revealed eDreams, Tix, and Vola overcharging up to 176pc compared to Ryanair’s prices, with eDreams marking up a €5.67 reserved seat to €15.67.
A 10kg bag costing €12.99 on Ryanair.com is sold by eDreams for €27.07, while Tix charges €45.49 for a 20kg bag against Ryanair’s €32.49.
Vola overcharges include a 47pc markup on priority boarding (€25 vs. €17) and a 10kg bag (€25 vs. €16.99).
Ryanair campaigns for EU consumer protection, urging governments and agencies to enforce price transparency from OTAs, criticising Spain’s Consumer Minister for inaction.
The survey underscores ongoing issues with unauthorised OTAs, which lack distribution agreements with Ryanair, impacting EU consumers with inflated costs.
Dara Brady shared: “Ryanair’s October OTA survey shows that eDreams, Tix, and Vola continue to harm unsuspecting consumers with overcharges of almost three times the prices on Ryanair’s website. Despite this clear overcharging evidence, EU governments and consumer protection authorities, including Spain’s useless Consumer Minister, have taken zero action to prevent this consumer harm.”
