
Ryanair have announced their winter programmes
- Barcelona (14 based aircraft): 62 routes, 4 new to Cork, Gdansk, Ouarzazate and Trieste, Increased frequencies on 15 other routes. Barcelona traffic will grow to 8.5m passengers annually in in year to March
- Bari (2 based aircraft) and Brindisi (1 based aircraft): 40 routes and increased frequencies on 6 destinations, 5.7m passengers per year.
- Bucharest: 27 routes, incl. 2 new Paris-Beauvais and Tirana contributing to 2.5m passengers, Increased frequencies on some other destinations: 280 weekly flights and over to/from Bucharest in winter 2023 (+16pc growth over last winter.
- Girona (2 based aircraft): 9 routes, 5 new to Belfast, Birmingham, Brussels Charleroi, Marrakech and Weeze, 1.3m passengers annually in year to March 2024.
- Venice Treviso (2 based aircraft): Treviso to Luton, 2w. Over 280 weekly flights, 40 routes, including 10 new: Gdansk, Madrid, Marseille, Cork, Santander, Tirana, Toulouse, Vienna, Zaragoza and Luton, increased frequencies on 11 other routes; 2.5m annual passengers in year to March 2024, up 6pc on last winter. Treviso-London was the first route operated by Ryanair in Italy in May 1998..
Ryanair has a market share of 38pc in Italy and 24pc in Spain.
