
Cork Airport anticipates over 50,000 passengers this St. Patrick’s Bank Holiday weekend, with Friday being the busiest day.
The airport will feature traditional Irish music and dance performances by local and regional groups throughout the weekend.
The Cheltenham Racing Festival has led to an increase in flights to England, with Ryanair and Aer Lingus Regional adding extra services to Birmingham and Bristol.
Cork Airport’s passenger numbers have grown by 20pc soo far this year with Patrick’s weekend numbers up 11pc and the airport working to ensure a friendly and smooth experience for travellers.
Cork Airport’s 2024 Summer Schedule begins at the end of this month with 48 routes to destinations across the England, Spain, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Croatia, and Greece.
