Quark Expeditions has announced that Sam Seward will succeed Andrew White as president, following White’s retirement after nearly a decade in the role, where he significantly advanced the company’s innovative initiatives.
Under White’s leadership, Quark Expeditions launched their Polar Promise sustainability policy, introduced the Ultramarine ship with unique features, and made a notable return to Snow Hill in November 2023.
Sam Seward joins Quark after a successful tenure with Travelopia Group, where he managed Adventure Brands and emphasized sustainable travel, including achieving B Corp certification for Exodus Adventure Travels.
Seward expressed his commitment to enhancing guest experiences in the polar regions while preserving the company’s values, aiming to drive new initiatives and inspire greater environmental impact in future expeditions.
