SATURDAY at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Wexford

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann is concluding its successful week in Wexford this weekend with good weather and temperatures around 20 degrees.

The Comhaltas competitions are attracting large crowds in multiple locations throughout Wexford with events starting from 10 am.

Various music performances and jam sessions are scheduled at the Wexford Credit Union Gig Rig from 11.30 am until 11 pm today.

Additional activities and exhibitions, such as “In the Moment: Capturing the Fleadh 2024,” are also taking place throughout Wexford Arts Centre.

Evening events will feature performances by Shaskeen and Frankie Gavin with special guests in prominent venues like the National Opera House.

The Musical instrument makers village opens in Selskar College at 11 am and there is an open singing session with Tommy Dunn in Whites of Wexford.
