Schedule revealed for Dublin Book Festival November 5-9

The Dublin Book Festival revealed its 2025 schedule, running from 5-9 November across city locations with over 100 events for all ages.

Michael Palin will share career and travel stories, including Michael Palin in Venezuela, at the Windmill Quarter on 6 November.

On 9 November at IMMA Kilmainham, Luke O’Neill and Jane Grimson will discuss Irish STEM lives, while Marie Cassidy and Gill Perdue talk crime writing.

Miriam O’Callaghan joins Christine Dwyer Hickey, Joseph O’Connor, and David Park for book chat at IMMA on 8 November.

The festival marks its 20th year with walking tours like the Ulysses Guide on 7 November, plus events on women activists, queer visibility, and youth workshops.

Festival director Julianne Mooney Siron shared: “The Dublin Book Festival brings together Ireland’s writers and artists over five days, drawing readers of all ages to celebrate books in Dublin’s libraries, cafés, cultural nooks and stunning gardens.”
