A second Jeju Air jet reported a landing gear malfunction on Monday, but safely returned to Seoul.

This incident marked the second occurrence of a similar landing gear issue within two days for Jeju Airlines.

A flight with the same aircraft model had to return to Gimpo Airport shortly after takeoff due to a malfunction.

Seoul said on Monday it would conduct a special inspection of all 101 Boeing 737-800s in operation in the country
