A six-year-old boy was put on the wrong flight and ended up 160 miles away from his grandmother in Florida. Instead of landing in Fort Myers, the boy arrived in Orlando.
This was the boy’s first flight and he was traveling alone on a Spirit Airlines flight from Philadelphia.
The grandmother received a call from her grandson in Orlando, informing her of the mistake. The boy’s luggage arrived in Fort Myers, but he was nowhere to be found.
Spirit Airlines admitted the mistake and stated that they have taken steps to communicate with the family and apologised for the experience.
