Sliding privacy door to be introduced on LOT Poland B787 business class

LOT Polish Airlines has announced plans to overhaul its fleet of Boeing 787-8 aircraft, with new Recaro seating in all classes.

Business class will feature Recaro’s CL6720 seat, complete with a sliding privacy door, a 17.3-inch 4K screen, wireless charging, and more. Premium economy will have Recaro’s PL3530 seat, while economy will feature the CL3810 seat. All cabins will offer USB-C ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and wifi provided by Viasat. The retrofit will initially cover the 787-8 fleet, with the updated cabins expected to be available in 2026.

LOT says the new cabin design draws inspiration from the Polish landscape, “incorporating vibrant blues and touches of copper to reflect the LOT brand and the warmth of the Polish sun. aims to provide a new quality of travel that encompasses not only seating comfort and in-flight entertainment, but also a focus on cultural heritage and attention to detail. The airline looks forward to welcoming passengers to this enhanced experience.”

The CL6720 seat model is the same as the one installed on Iberia’s newest A350 aircraft. Features including a sliding privacy door, a 17.3-inch 4K screen, wireless charging, additional storage, a 1-2-1 configuration, and design by British firm Tangerine, which recently worked on Finnair’s new business class seat.

Recaro’s PL3530 seat in premium economy in LOT’s 787-8s, featuring the same model adopted by Emirates for its premium economy cabins, and the CL3810 in economy, which was also chosen by Qatar Airways for its A321 neo aircraft back in 2021.
