FlightAware reported that by 7 a.m. ET on February 13, 282 flights were canceled including major airports such as YYZ (Toronto), YUL (Montreal), and YOW (Ottawa).
Snowfall predictions in Ontario were reported to reach between 15-35 cm, specifically affecting Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec City.
Air Canada and WestJet issued weather advisories offering free changes and updates regarding travel disruptions from February 12 to February 17 for impacted airports.
