Southwest Airlines has introduced a new tool for passengers to track their own baggage.
This feature brings Southwest in line with its rivals American Airlines, Delta, and United Airlines, who also offer bag tracking for customers.
Passengers can now view the status of their bags at three key points during the journey: when bag tags are printed, when bags are loaded onto the plane, and when they are unloaded.
The tool is accessible through the Southwest website and mobile app, allowing passengers to track their checked bags by accessing their reservation details and selecting the ‘track your checked bag’ option.
