Southwest revealed the partnership with the Turkish Airlines to launch in early 2026.
The partnership allowed passengers to book single-ticket journeys connecting the U.S. domestic network with the Istanbul hub. Travellers continued to over 350 destinations across 132 countries from Istanbul.
Ten U.S. airports served as gateways with tickets available through the Turkish Airlines and other platforms. The agreement marked the sixth overseas partnership for Southwest in 2025.
Andrew Watterson shared “Both Southwest and Turkish Airlines are known for the warmth of our employees, the authenticity of our hospitality, and the reliability of our airline operations. The agreement will usher thousands of international travelers each week through both networks.”
