Killarney is to host its first Wander Wild Festival from March 22-24, 2024. The festival offers kayak tours, forest baths, mindfulness workshops, yoga sessions, guided hikes, night walks, adventure and wellness activities through activities like hikes, horseback riding, kayaking, swimming and a children’s activity programme for families.
Key attractions in the locality include:
- hikes thorugh Killarney National Park
- climbs of Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil
- stargazing from a dark sky hike,
- climbs of steep terrains in a steep ground masterclass.
Pat Chawke, Chairperson of Wander Wild Festival, said “We invite adventurers from near and far to join us and explore the beauty of Killarney’s great outdoors. Spring is a great time to explore and enjoy everything that Killarney town and the National Park have to offer.”
