SWISS has confirmed an order for an additional five Airbus A350-900 aircraft, augmenting its existing order for five of the same model, part of a larger acquisition by the Lufthansa Group.

The first A350-900 is expected to enter service in the summer of 2025, with deliveries scheduled to continue until the end of 2031, aimed at modernizing the airline’s fleet.

The new A350s will feature a revised premium economy cabin and the SWISS Senses cabin interiors, enhancing passenger comfort on long-haul flights.

SWISS plans to replace its current fleet of A340-300 aircraft with the new A350s, with route decisions for the A350 operations to be finalized in the coming months.
