TAP Air Portugal will restart flights to Manaus, Brazil on 4 November, operating thrice weekly from Lisbon as a tag-on to its route to Belém.
The airline previously served Manaus from 2014 to 2016, and there are currently no direct flights between Manaus and Europe.
This new route adds to TAP’s existing 12 destinations in Brazil, with a total of 95 weekly flights to the country this summer.
TAP’s CEO highlighted the airline’s commitment to Brazil and its goal of attracting more tourists from around the world through its extensive European and African network.
