Tara Magee is the new chair of Visit USA Ireland. Tara serves as the Ireland manager for British Airways.
The organisation, which promotes US tourism to Ireland, reported 494,344 visits from Ireland to USA in 2024, up 9pc from 2023. Visitor numbers have ceased to increase in 2025. Rolling annual to September 2025 was 490,902, flat at an increase of 0.2pc.
